posted 13 Jun 2018, 08:16 by Linn Hoggins

Dear Parent/Carer

We have been given the opportunity to be involved in the Mouth of Tyne festival. The event involves a parade with lots of other school children through Tynemouth Front Street and would be for approximately one hour. The children follow a simple dance routine and wear a costume they will have made in school. Mrs Cunningham will be telling the children about the event and showing them some photos from last year, it really was great fun.

If your child is interested and they are available on Saturday 7th July at 10.45am could you please complete online form. Further details to follow.

Thank you
Mrs Cunningham

Year 5 will be visiting North Shields Fish Quay as part of their current topic on our local area on Friday 15th June 2018.  They will be looking at the history of the fish quay and what it is like to be a fisherman.

Children will leave school at 9.15am after registration and will return by 2.30pm for normal finishing time at 3.20pm.  Children can wear non-uniform with their school jumper/cardigan.  Please wear sensible clothes for the weather including a coat.

Can we ask children to bring a packed lunch and their water bottle.

We ask for a voluntary donation of £2.00 for this visit which will go to the Fishermans Heritage Project Fund.  Can we please ask for this to be paid before Friday 15th June 2018 as this is to cover the cost of entry to the museum.   This can be placed in a named envelope and posted in the express payment post box in the office foyer.

We would like helpers for this visit.  If you are able to help on the visit, please contact your child's class teacher.

FOKE Project - KS1 Yard

posted 8 Jun 2018, 02:19 by Linn Hoggins

FUNDED BY FOKE!

You may have seen two new structures in the Key Stage 1 yard.  One is a stage and the other is going to be a huge sand pit.  I am sure you will agree that they look amazing and provide the children with additional areas to play, discover and learn.

Lovingly made by Mr Atwell and funded by all our families.

Stay tuned for developments in the Key Stage 2 yard too.
