Year 3 visit to Hartlepool Historic Quay Visit on Tuesday 20th February 2018

posted 6 Feb 2018, 02:47 by Linn Hoggins   [ updated 6 Feb 2018, 03:39 ]

Dear Parent/Carers

As part of our topic on Water, Year 3 are planning an educational visit to Hartlepool Historic Quay on Tuesday 20th February 2018  We plan to leave school at 9.15am to arrive at Hartlepool at 10am.  We will work with the guides there to explore the sight and have a really fun day.  We endeavor to be back to school at normal finishing time (3.20pm), depending on the traffic.

All children will need a packed lunch, with a drink that has a sports top, so they can use it all day.  If your child receives a free school meal a packed lunch will be provided.

As it is near the sea it is very cold so children will need to wear warm clothes NOT UNIFORM and a waterproof coat.  It would also be good to have a hat, scarf and gloves too. Please wear sensible waterproof shoes.

To cover the cost of the coach and the entrance fee we need to ask for a voluntary contribution of £8.00.

If you would like to accompany us and help on this visit, please complete the online form.  We are able to fund a limited number of places. Seats are limited on the coach so names may be drawn from 'a hat' However if anyone wishes to meet us there and fund their own entry, they would be welcome to do so, please let us know.

Thank you
