We are celebrating reading again this year by having a Book Week next week – Week beginning 29th  February.  There will be lots of exciting events taking place all week. The book fair will be open Monday to Thursday, after school, in the Community Room, 3.15 - 4pm.
Children will be given a £1 book voucher to celebrate World Book Day which can be spent at the book fair.

We will be having a book sale all week so if you have any old books, you would like to donate, can you please send them into school on Monday 29th February.   We would like to raise £100 from this to subsidise the story teller visits this week. We will be charging 50p a book or 3 for £1.

On Wednesday Years Nursery to Year 3  will have a visit from a story teller – Captain Raggy Beard.

On Thursday to celebrate World Book Day children can come dressed up as their favourite character from a book, voluntary donations please to help subsidise the story teller visits this week.

On Friday Years 4 to 6 will have a visit from the Story Teller Chris Bostock.

There will be book related activities happening in class all week. We are really looking forward to all these exciting events.
