Join local astronomers for a fun night of assorted astronomical treats at the Northumberland Park Visitors Centre.  Northumberland Park in partnership with Sunderland Astronomical Society are hosting an evening of stargazing.

Powerful telescopes will be available to view:
  • The planets Venus, Mars and Uranus.
  • Amazing stellar nursery, the Orion Nebula (M42).
  • Andromeda Galaxy (M31).
  • Gorgeous open star clusters like "The Seven Sisters".
  • Many other astronomical wonders of the night sky.

  • Astronomy related talk with questions and answers.
  • Local amateur astronomer expertise on hand to answer questions and share their knowledge of the night sky.
