Northumbria Police Family Fun Day - Sunday 26th June 2016

On Sunday 26th June a Northumbria Police Family Fun day is being arranged to take place at Middle Engine Lane Police Station, Wallsend. North Tyneside  (MEL)

There will be numerous police sport allowing local children to challenge a police officer or participate in some kind of activity.
I.e. “ penalty against the police force goal keeper” – “race against the police static cycling team” – “punch the police boxing pads” etc.

Inspector Mark Storey will be heading up this event. The NPT team will have police vehicles and equipment for the families to look around and non-sports activities for the families to enjoy.

They are also (at the moment) attempting to arrange displays from the horse and dog sections. Flyovers from the helicopter and even a visit by the marine section with a boat is being arranged.

Refreshments  have been arranged with the Tynemouth Coffee van, Ice cream van and a mobile burger van.

Other non-police activities have been arrange. Face painting, climbing wall, flight simulator, bouncy castle etc etc etc.
