NTLT Star Awards Update - Don't forget you can still nominate!!!

Just 1 week before the deadline for NTLT Star Award nominations!

The Star Awards, now in their second year, are a fantastic way to honour and celebrate the outstanding achievements of all children and young people in North Tyneside. Generously sponsored by Vision for Education, the 2015 awards aim to be bigger and better than before, inspiring young people, recognising personal achievement and celebrating success at a glittering awards ceremony on 1st July 2015 at the Discovery museum with prizes for all finalists worth almost £100!

Anyone can make a nomination and every child nominated is considered a winner in his or her own right and will receive a certificate. Candidates must be educated within a school in North Tyneside. The closing date for nominations is Friday 27th March 2015.

To recognise a child or young person who has improved the lives of those around them in their community.

Volunteering Award - Sponsored by Capita
To recognise a child or young person who regularly gives their time freely and unpaid doing something to benefit the environment, individuals or groups other than close relatives.

Inclusion Award - Sponsored by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
To recognise a child or young person who has demonstrated an understanding and acceptance of other people and actively promotes tolerance and cohesion.

Can Do Award - Sponsored by Speech Genius
To recognise a child or young person who demonstrates a positive attitude in everything they do.

Fundraising Award

To recognise a child or young person who has raised money for a good cause, however large or small the amount.

To recognise a child or young person who has demonstrated extreme courage and determination in overcoming adversity.

To recognise a child or young person who pro-actively demonstrates care and concern for the environment and encourages others to do the same.
