Raising Achievement Day - Monday 11th January 2016

posted 4 Jan 2016, 08:20 by Linn Hoggins
On Monday 11th January 2016 we are using our INSET day for a Raising Achievement Day.  We would like to invite parents of children in Reception to Year 6 to come into school with your child to meet your child’s teachers. During the appointment staff will share with you how your child has done this term and how you can help at home.  You will also receive a copy of their interim report.

As we know many of you work, staff have very kindly agreed to work different hours that day.  So after staff training, staff will be available from 11.00 – 6.00pm. We hope that by attending you will be better informed about your child’s progress and also how you can help at home. We think doing this together with your child will be helpful.

This will replace parents evening this term.  Therefore we very much hope 100% of parents with children will attend.  We strongly encourage parents of children in Year 2 to Year 6 to attend with your child. Reception/Year 1 parents may feel your child may be a little young to benefit as fully from attending with you.  The decision is therefore up to you.

As this is an Inset day this will mean our Nursery will be closed on this day.

IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO ALREADY, PLEASE BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER BY CLICKING ON THE LINK BELOW AND RETURNING THE FORM TO SCHOOL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Thank you.
