Roadworks on corner of Preston Avenue/Blanchland Terrace

posted 27 Apr 2015, 06:28 by Linn Hoggins
British gas are digging up the road school is on, starting on Wednesday 29th April 2014 for about 3-4 weeks.

This will cause disruption to the path as you go out of the main school gates and turn left, once you cross over the road is where they will start (corner of Preston Avenue/Blanchland Terrace). Can we please ask our families who walk to school to take extra care around this area.  We also ask if parents can park away from the school and walk their children to school to avoid congestion around the outside of school.  This is for the safety of our children and their families.   Can we please ask parents NOT to park on the pathways outside of school and especially not around the entrances which have the zig zag lines.

British Gas will be coming into school on Tuesday 28th April to do a safety talk assembly for our children around being safe around roadworks.

Thank you for your co-operation.
